According to Sprint's Chief Financial Officer Joseph Euteneuer he expects 4G LTE devices to enter the market in the second half of 2012. In Sprint's first LTE announcement they anticipated LTE devices by mid summer, but Eutenuer's comment doesn't suggest a large change in the LTE timeline. Sprint will have some ground to cover as Verizon Wireless already had 16 4G capable LTE devices and AT&T sits with 3 LTE capable devices currently. Sprint's goal is to have 15 4G LTE devices available next year and plans to cover 120 million people by the end of 2012, and 250 million people by 2013. With the latest agreement with Clearwire Sprint will have data access on a flat-rate basis through 2013, which suggests Sprint will be able to do more unlimited plans down the road.
