CLEAR in Los Angeles
As we've previously reported, CLEAR is in their final stage of testing 4G WIMAX in New York and Los Angeles. Users that have hybrid 3G/4G devices such as the CLEAR Series 'S' have been excited to see the messaged "Connected to 4G WiMAX". No official statements have been given on when these markets will be officially announced though. As it stands now, CLEAR is available in 52 markets which certainly makes 4G aircards and phones like the HTC EVO and Samsung Epic a very attractive option as they support the latest generation of technology. Users of these major markets have been disappointed in the past as they had to wait for 4G, however, the wait seems to be almost over!
