Samsung Stealth V with Verizon 4G LTE hits the FCC, is a launch coming soon?

The Samsung Stealth (SCH-i510), the first Samsung phone developed to operate on Verizon's latest 4G LTE network, made an appearance in an FCC filing today. This device was originally expected to launch in the summer of 2011, however, with today's filling it may arrive on Verizon sooner than anticipated - likely around the same time as the launch of the HTC Thunderbolt 4G smartphone. The Stealth will record video at 1080P (a first for a mobile phone!), offer a 4.3" super AMOLED display, HDMI video out and an 8MP camera.

Samsung phones have become a popular choice amongst high-end power users, particularly after the success of the 4G Samsung Epic developed for Sprint's 4G WiMAX network. We look forward to seeing how the LTE-capable Stealth compares!
