An anonymous person provided the above screenshot showing AT&T's 4G LTE network up and running in select areas of San Francisco, CA. There isn't a specific date when the service will be official available, however, when areas start showing 4G LTE it's only a matter of time before it officially goes live. If this market goes live before the end of the year AT&T will have beat their initial projection by providing 4G LTE to 16 markets (original estimate was 15 markets). The speeds look on par with Verizon 4G LTE, but AT&T is still well behind in the 4G race as Verizon has over 170 Markets with 4G LTE currently.
