During an interview with examiner.com, Sprint's VP of Network Development & Engineering Iyad Tarazi confirmed that 4G WiMAX will be available in Los Angeles soon! While an exact date wasn't mentioned, he promised that the first implementation would be "sometime this year" which will include part of Orange County (from Irvine to the north and west). Tarazi also stated that they have completed the testing phase for WiMAX in Los Angeles and it is now in the implementation stage!
