Sprint reports Q1 2012 results: $255 million operating loss

Earlier today Sprint released their Q1 2012 financial records showing some mixed results. The company was successful in generating a five percent revenue growth over this time last year and 1.5 million iPhone sales. However, even with the growth Sprint still suffered a $255 million operating loss and $863 million net loss. Sprint is hopeful that their Network Vision plan to launch 4G LTE in the mid part of 2012 will put the company back in the black. Sprint is the only carrier offering unlimited 4G data on WiMAX and plans to keep unlimited data when the migration to LTE occurs, which will be very attractive for data hungry customers.
