Sprint has finally released SmartView 2.28 for both Windows and Mac OS X. This version adds better stability and support for the new U301 3G/4G Modem. This upgrade will also improve toggling between 3G and 4G networks, as this was an issue with the previous version of SmartView when using the U300.
If you wish to upgrade to version 2.28, you will have to manually download it from the Sprint Downloads page, as it is not being offered via SmartView's auto-update feature.
Beggining on December 21st, 3GStore.com will be shipping this latest version of Sprint's SmartView software for both Windows & Mac OS X with all of their Sprint devices .
