Sprint to Offer More 4G Android Devices in 2011

According to the Android Community Sprint will be adding more 4G-capable Android devices this year to compete with all the upcoming Verizon LTE-capable smartphones. In the coming months "Sprint will be bumping up their Android 4G offerings to more than seventy percent of their mobile catalog," said the Android Community. At this time the only 4G-capable phones available from Sprint are the Samsung Epic 4G, HTC EVO 4G and HTC EVO Shift 4G with more models rolling out this spring. At this time Sprint's 4G WiMAX network is available in over 70+ markets and will continue to expand as Sprint upgrades their towers for 4G support.
