Earlier in the month we discussed the fact that Illinois wireless provider iPCS was aiming to block Sprint from being able to offer their XOHM network in iPCS's markets, since the contract between the two gives iPCS exclusivity. iPCS has successfully blocked Sprint from being able to use Nextel in their markets (Sprint acquired Nextel back in 2005), with the Illinois Supreme Court denying Sprint's appeal yet again this week. With the courts' continued siding with iPCS, it seems increasingly unlikely that Sprint will be able to do anything involving Clearwire in those 81 markets.
