If you've purchased one of the Sprint XOHM modems or done some reading here on this site and the 4G Forums, you've probably realized that neither the SWC e-ExpressCard or the new ZTE Tu25 USB device are compatible with Macs. If you can remember back to a few years ago when Sprint first launched their EVDO network, Mac users were similarly locked out of using Sprint wireless devices without workarounds (thanks to EVDOinfo.com!) for quite a while - until April of this year, in fact - until Sprint finally officially supported Macs. Unfortunately, despite the pleas from Mac users Sprint undoubtedly received back in the early days of EVDO, they have NOT learned their lesson with the new XOHM venture.
Sprint has confirmed that they do not currently support Macs, although they did say that they will be supporting Macs "soon." That doesn't tell us much, obviously, and doesn't bode too well for Mac users.
For now, your XOHM options for your Mac are to either use the ZyXel Home Modem, which you can connect to your computer via ethernet or use with any standard wireless router, OR you can use the USB or ExpressCard via Bootcamp, VMWare or Parallels. We got the ZTE Tu25 up and running on a MacBook Pro running Vista:
