Verizon LTE To Service 30 NFL Cities This Year

Verizon has been consistently stating that they'd have 25-30 markets launched by the end of 2010. Last month their LTE plans leaked, which hinted at a mid-November launch, fitting with some of the devices that have been recently filed through the FCC for approval. With Verizon's recent deal to provide live NFL streaming over their network it does make sense that this could be a good indicator of where we will see the service launch. The NFL season has finally hit us and this very well might put Verizon's network to the test as users begin to really utilize the service. When LTE officially launches and 4G phones get released, the ability to stream applications like these will become much better with more bandwidth available.
