Earlier today Verizon Wireless released several press releases indicating new 4G LTE markets that will be going live on July 21. After these markets officially go live Verizon will be very close to surpassing Sprint's 4G WiMAX coverage and one step closer to their goal of 175 markets by the end of 2011. In addition to these markets they'll also be expanding coverage throughout Los Angeles and San Diego, California.
Verizon 4G LTE July 21 Launches:
- Huntsville, Alabama
- Charleston, West Virginia
- Augusta, Georgia
- Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
- Springfield, Massachusetts
- Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina & adds 58 new Cell Sites
- Greensboro-Winston, Salem-High Point, North Carolina
