Over the past few months Verizon has been hard at work testing their LTE network in preparation for a 4th quarter 2010 launch. As the months progressed, we heard the date November, 15th, 2010 rumored, and that that the first 30 markets will be in NFL cities. Verizon has now added a splash page (http://phones.verizonwireless.com/4g/), for the release of 4G LTE to their website which further proves previous rumors. With their aggressive strategy we could see a potential explosion in LTE availability over the end of 2010 and throughout 2011. This service is estimated to bring 5-12Mbps down and 2-5Mbps upload which puts it in direct competition with Sprint and CLEAR's 4G WiMax networks.
