Speaking to Reuters, ZTE CEO Cheng Lixin said that their company wants to make 4G LTE devices available in the U.S in the second half of the year. They also plan to introduce a Windows Phone with the Mango update in the first part of 2012 and expect an LTE tablet within the same time frame. They've seen how popular 4G LTE and Windows phones are becoming and ZTE sees this as a great opportunity to grow alongside them. However, this isn't a guarantee that their phones will end up on AT&T's or Verizon's 4G lineup. The only other carrier that would be a choice at this time is MetroPCS, which was actually the first carrier to offer 4G LTE in the U.S.
