WiMAX Comes to Boston via Pipeline Wireless

Pipeline WirelessAfter several news stories reporting on the development of high-speed WiMAX networks overseas, reports of coverage in the US are surfacing, beginning with the Boston, MA area. Pipeline Wireless, the broadband provider for the city, is now working with RedMAX to begin deployment of RedACCESS and RedCONNEX networks, beginning in the downtown section of town. Pipeline has picked Redline's carrier-class RedMAX AN-100U Base Station for its support of voice, video and prioritized data traffic, which enables long-range, high-capacity wireless broadband networks - the goal of all 4G services.
